Let your kids know that they can help too. By washing their hands, staying active and helping their parents around the house, children become one of Mister Rogers' “helpers.”
#1: Stay Safe
Practice social distancing by greeting friends with a wave instead of a hug or a high five.
#2: Stay Healthy
To prevent the spread of germs, wash your hands often and avoid touching your face.

#3. Stay Active
Go outside with your family!
- Kick a ball
- Ride your bike
- Go for a walk
- Help your parents in the garden.
If you see a friend or neighbor outside, remember to wave and stay a safe distance apart.

There are lots of fun activities you can do inside to help your family and keep your mind busy.

- You can also give loved ones in your home lots of hugs and remember to share your feelings if you feel sad or lonely.
- Another great way to stay connected is by practicing your writing and sending letters. Everyone loves to get mail!
In these challenging times, there are many helpers, but together with our children, we can help too! Let’s all work together to take care of our neighbors and ourselves. What we do now will make a difference.
