Mike Goldberg Mike Goldberg hosts Classical Music on WCVE Music Weekdays 12 noon - 2:00 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Breakfast Classics each weekend morning from 8:00 a.m.-10:00 a.m.

Music has always been an important part of Mike’s life and he holds a degree in clarinet performance from the world-renowned Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, where he also studied conducting.

Mike regularly performs with several local ensembles and is the founder and Artistic Director for the chamber music ensemble Crescendo.

Passionate about music education, Mike is an Adjunct Instructor of Clarinet and Instrumental Conducting at Randolph-Macon College, serves as clarinet instructor at Colonial Forge High School (Stafford County) and maintains a private clarinet studio of elementary and high school students.

He is the Music Director and Conductor of the Central Virginia Wind Symphony, a group of the most talented high school musicians across the region, and has served as Assistant Conductor for the University of Richmond Symphony Orchestra and the Richmond Philharmonic.
