Traveling Photo Exhibit

In conjunction with the television broadcast of the epic film series by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick, The Vietnam War, the Community Idea Stations launched the Vietnam: Virginia Remembers multimedia initiative. In addition to watching the documentary on WCVE PBS/WHTJ PBS, you can find rich content connecting you to the local stories about Vietnam through radio and television interviews, video clips, teacher resources and a traveling photo exhibit. The photo exhibit, which highlights the diverse faces of those in Virginia affected by the war in combat and on the home front, will be available for the public to view from September 1st to November 22nd, in various locations around the Greater Richmond community.

  • The James Center: Tower 1 Lobby - September 30th - October 14th
  • John Tyler Community College (Midlothian Campus) - October 16th - 28th
  • John Tyler Community College (Chester Campus) - October 30th - November 9th/10th
  • Virginia State University - November 10th - December 1st
