Skywatch at Varina Library

father and daughter looking in telescope

The Richmond Astronomical Society is hosting a Skywatch at Varina Library, where you’ll be able to look up and see Saturn and a whole lot more.

The evening begins with a session inside the library, using a sky map to locate planets and galaxies that will be visible at this time of year. The group will then head outside to observe the night sky through telescopes.

Telescopes will be set up for you, but bring binoculars if you have them—you might be surprised by what you can see with those too.

It all happens on Thursday, November 14th, from 5:45 to 8 p.m.  For more information click here

If you can’t make it, or rain spoils the fun, check out the Richmond Astronomical Society website for other stargazing opportunities.
