Saidu Tejan-Thomas Jr. is a writer, poet, actor, and host of the podcast Resistance, a show about people refusing to accept things as they are. Saidu is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, and the co-founder the national award-winning slam poetry organization Good Clear Sound. During his time on campus, he also appeared in a number of productions at VCUarts Theatre .

After his time on campus, Saidu attended the Transom Story Workshop, which he then parlayed into an internship at NPR, then an internship at Gimlet Media. After years of producing award-winning shows like UncivilConviction, and Mogul, Saidu started his own podcast. He is currently playing video games, fussing over writing, scoring  podcast episodes, and rehabbing his Achilles so he can return to the court and give people buckets.
