Whether he’s adapting the scores of John Carpenter’s Halloween films for jazz ensemble or concocting new pieces for guitar and synthesizer, Scott Burton is always pushing boundaries and experimenting with his music. On Wednesday, June 19th, he’ll be featured in a program at Firehouse Theatre called Sense - Memory. Joining Burton on stage will be three visual artists: abstract painter Shaylen Broughton and video artists Mitchell Craft and Eric Eckhart.

In this segment, Scott describes the modular synthesizer, you’ll hear a few examples of the music he creates with it and he talks about the unique collaborations that are planned for Wednesday evening. Also, you’ll hear from Shaylen Broughten.

You can find information and get tickets for Sense Memory at Firehouse Theatre’s website.
