Cellist Hee-Young Lim Releases Her Debut Album
Praised by the Washington Post as "a deeply gifted musician, with a full, singing tone, near-flawless technique and a natural lyricism that infused nearly every note she played," cellist Hee- Young Lim has quickly established herself as one of the most charismatic and fast-rising cellists of her generation. She recently released her debut album of French cello concertos, accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Scott Yoo.
The repertoire on the album consists of works by Saint-Saens, Lalo, Milhaud, Offenbach and Massanet. I recently spoke with Hee-Young about her blossoming career and the production of this new release.
Yours in good music,
