Season 13 of Charlottesville Inside-Out Premieres January 30 in a New Time Slot
Charlottesville Inside-Out (CVIO) fans can look forward to a brand-new lineup of episodes and a new 8 p.m. time slot beginning Thursday, January 30 on VPM PBS.
The Emmy award-winning show is hosted by Terri Allard, a local performing artist and native daughter of the region. Each 30-minute episode features two in-depth conversations with community members spotlighting the best, brightest and little-known treasures in and around the Piedmont Region.
The season 13 premiere will feature an intimate conversation and community run with UVA President Jim Ryan and a lesson in a sport that is a cross between ping pong, badminton and tennis, which is quickly becoming a favorite for players of all ages.
Directed and produced by Shawn Freude and Bryant Dameron and co-produced by Terri Allard, CVIO recently won an Emmy from the Capital Emmys–National Capital Chesapeake Bay Chapter for its interview with Pulitzer Prize-winning former U.S. and Virginia Poet Laureate Rita Dove. CVIO has also garnered two Telly Awards in the categories of “Talk Show” and “Cultural Video.”
